Commenting, Alp Mehmet, Chairman of Migration Watch UK, said:

The MAC rightly calls for jobs to be made more attractive for UK workers and wages increased. Yet its report then goes in entirely the wrong direction by suggesting how to make it even easier for employers to avoid investing in UK talent.

The government have caved into the business lobby and seem intent on exposing British workers to vastly increased global recruitment pressure at a time of spiking unemployment.
