Immigration Bill introduced to Parliament

Alp Mehmet, Chairman of Migration Watch UK, said:

This Bill is critical. Get it wrong and we risk seeing net migration spiralling further out of control. The new system must serve the interests of the whole country, including UK workers, while also reducing immigration as the public want. Scrapping the cap on numbers, and opening up a route for younger migrants on wages barely above the minimum, is not the way to do it.
