Net migration figures for the year ending March 2018

August 23, 2018

Commenting, Lord Green of Deddington, Chairman of Migration Watch UK, said:

Let us not forget that we still have a net inflow from the EU of about 90,000 a year. Meanwhile, it is extremely disappointing that net migration from outside the EU has risen by about 30% and now stands at nearly a quarter of a million -the highest level in at least a decade. The government should have been able to reduce this inflow as they have long promised but, clearly, they have been asleep at the switch.
