Migration Watch UK Press Comment on Labour Market Statistics-February 2015 | Migration Watch UK

Commenting on today’s ONS Labour Market Statistics which show that EU workers account for the majority of the annual increase in the foreign born workforce, Alp Mehmet, Vice Chairman of Migration Watch UK said:

“Today’s figures show that 70% of the increase in the foreign born workforce over the past year has come from the EU. These new statistics sharply underline the need for effective measures to reduce the inflow of workers from Europe if the scale of immigration is to be brought under control.”
