Commenting, Lord Green of Deddington, Chairman of Migration Watch UK said:

If the main reduction in immigration is achieved by cutting out low paid immigrants from the EU, as we have proposed, there is no reason to think that there will be a significant reduction in revenue because these workers pay little or no tax.
