I believe that shows contempt for the tolerance of the British people&quot;. In fact, I have never said anything of the kind. Migrationwatch believes that integration is perfectly possible but not on the massive scale we now face, with 1,300 new arrivals every day.<\/p>\n<p>It is ironic that Phillips should make this remark in the very week that his Commission for Racial Equality reported that &quot;our society is fracturing.
