A family of five, including a 15-month-old baby, are among the seven people who were lost when a boat crammed with migrants capsized in the Channel.

In the worst accident involving refugees trying to reach Britain by boat, Rasoul Iran-nejad, 35, an Iranian Kurd, Shiva Mohammad-panahi, 25, his wife, Anita, nine, their daughter, and Armin, six, their son, were declared dead after being taken from the water.

Artin, their 15-month-old boy, is missing, feared drowned, as are two other migrants, both adults, who are also believed to have been on board.
